I just did one on a 2002 Gran Marquis, and I had to cut it off. Took over 3 hours to get a 20 minute job done. They use a crappy rubber bushing and be careful not to cut the pin on the drag link. My old one ended up in about 15 little pieces. I used a cut-off wheel on a grinder to cut away the outer shell, then a sawzall to slowly cut away the bushing cap, and inner sleeve. Good luck.
