I replaced my rear brake pads on the disc brakes in the rear and found 3 months later that the passenger rear brake pad was completely worn down to the metal (no pad left). I decided it must have been the caliper not releasing and then replaced the pad and bought a new caliper. 3 months later I'm down to no brake pad again. Could it be the caliper again or is something else causing this pad to wear like no other pad on the car?

Chances are the rubber brake hose attached to the caliper is bad. They deteriate inside and will allow fluid to pass in one direction, but when it returns (to release the brakes) it doesn't allow the brake fluid to flow. Thus, the brake sticks on and goes bad very quickly. Check that and let me know what you find.

When I posted this question I assumed it was the brake pad wearing down because it was a similar if not the same sound as when I replaced the rotor and pad (pad was completely worn down to the metal). I pulled the read wheel and found the brake pad to be completely fine (not overly worn). I did have the hose replaced prior to the last brake pad/rotor change. Could it be the emergency brake? This noise is not always there. It comes and goes. Mostly not there. I first noticed it when I only turned the car to the right. Not sure what's causing the noise.

Thanks for your ideas

Are you sure it isn't a bad wheel bearing? It is common for them to make more noise when the vehicle is turning one direction or the other.

Let me know.
