Mercedes E320 1996 Model (W210) Does not start

The mercedes at first cranked a few times and never started. After leaving it for a while, it used to start. However the delears here in africa are appauling. They don't have the correct equipment. The car does not even crank now. We changed the crank shaft sensor but still the same problem. We also had a new ignition system fitted but still the same. Also had the ECU tested, but that was fine.

What can it be? Now the dealers suspect the Drive authorization system.

I need help on this please.

Charge the battery back up, then is sounds like a fuel pump that is bad, when it doest start check for fuel pressure, if none, check for power at the pump, if pressent then replace the fuel pump.

Hello Thanks for the suggestion. However everything regarding the fuel pump is fine. Battery power is alos sufficient and chargedup. The dealers are now deciding to fit the drive authorization system. They will do that and shal come back to you. If you have any other suggestions, please please reply.
