1995 Mercedes Benz C280 gas gauge not working

I just bought this car 7 days ago and the gas gauge worked, the car has a full tank of gas but today the gauge shows 0. I thought that because it was cold maybe that was the problem but after the car warmed up it still stayed on 0 indicating no gas. What could be the problem?

Fuel senders are bad. Does everything else work in the display
