Fill the radiator up-start the car and look inside the opening is coolant squirling around if so keep it running and pinch of the upper radiator hose for a few secs and then let go did the coolant flow increase if so the water pump is doing its job

the radiator has no cap there is a seperate resivoir to fill with water thanks anyway guys

HE MEANT THE RESERVIOR OPENING WHERE THE CAP IS LOCATED. SAME TEST SHOULD PRODUCE THE SAME RESULTS.
