2001 Mazda Truck

When I turned my truck on, it started but made a screeching sound. After it was on and making the screeching sound, it then made a POP sound and the truck turned off by itself. I tried turning it on, but it won't start. All the lights turn on, but it won't start. Any idea what's going on and how much it might be to fix?

Hi there,

A screech may be a belt slipping because of a seized bearing, as for the pop. Well I have no idea. Will it crank over? If not check the starter, if it will crank, you will have to check for fuel delivery 7 spark. Also do a scan to see if any set fault codes are present.
