2006 Mazda Tribute Manual 42,000 miles

I had recently lost my keys and my remote entry fob for my car and had been opening it manually with my spare, Today my keys where returned to me and when I went to use the remote entry it unlocked all but my drivers side door, so I opened it manually and than locked it from the inside and tried to open it with button in the car and the same thing happened it opened all but the drivers door, The fob and the button in the car will both lock all the doors but neither will unlock the drivers door. This was not an issue before I lost my keys. Also I had to have a tow truck come out and break in to my car to get the spare, he used a wedge to pry the top corner of the door open and than stuck what looked like a long coat hanger into the car and used it to press the unlock button, could this have screwed something up in the door, as I did not have this problem prior? And could it be fixed easily- I don't have too much knowledge of fixing cars but really don't want to have to pay to get it fixed if I don't have to.

Cycle ignition from off to run 8 times within 10 seconds, ending on run, not start! Just "on" position. All doors will lock and unlock to confirm program mode, press ANY button on the remote, door locks will cycle to confirm a good programming, if a second transmitter is to be done just hit any button on it now!
When done programming, and you can do 4 transmitters, turn ignition to off, doors will lock and unlock to confirm.

Thank you for the quick resopnse.
I had already tied reprogramming the fob but it did not work, after I turned the key 8 times all of the doors locked and unlocked like they where supose to except the lock on the driver side door and when I was done I tried to unlock with the transmitter and there was no change. Any other ideas as to what it could be?

Have a look at the bottom of the door where the rivet holds the actuator. Sometimes the rivet breaks, and sometimes the actuator or a control rod inside the door needs fixin!
