Uphill Weak Power

Car runs fine, except on uphill's where it will no longer accelerate.

There are a number of things that will cause low power up hills, but we need to start with this guide that will help cover the basic items.

Basically, this is most likely a restriction in the exhaust, or the vehicle is not knowing how much air is coming in which messes up the air fuel ratio. Or the air fuel is off due to a fuel pump issue.

Let's start by checking the fuel pressure when this happens.

Next item would be to clean the air flow sensor. This is basically a Ford so you should have the MAF shown in this guide.

Lastly this may be a restriction so we should remove the up steam o2 sensors and see if you get a little better performance.

I feel like I owe you follow up.

Finally got it to a dealer (80-mile r/t). The problem was catalytic converters, two of them were replaced. It was expensive, but it runs like new.
