1993 Mazda Protege engine cranking

My car will not crank over at times

Do you meant it cranks and refuses to start or just wont crank the engine

O Yea-lets double check the battery and connection if okay

Lets look for power at the park and neutral switch black and blue wire at the switch located on top side of the transaxle while helper hold key at start position-No power you have a problem with the ignition switch

Power present at the P/N switch and nothing on the black and red at the starter change out the P/N switch, power at the black and red wire at the starter and not cranking replace the starter
