I was driving home from work when my car just stopped running. Will not start. I changed the fuel pump but that didnt fix the problem. The car turns over but will not start.

It is a five speed, 159000 miles, mx6 w turbo

ok, I changed the fuel pump, spark plugs & wires, dist cap, rotor, and fuel filter.
I check to see if I was getting fuel through the filter-no fuel. I check to see if I had any spark-no spark.
Where do I go now? No spark No Fuel-what controls these two. The car turns over and that is about it.

took car to the repair garage. They checked it out and told me the distributor was bad. I went and bought a distributor. They put it on yesterday. I called them today to see if car was ready. They told me that it didnt fix the problem. They are now telling me the computer is bad. This the conclusion I came to when I took it into them. What do you think.

It is a 2.2l I think

Check the main relay and ignition fuse-if okay pull a plug wire and ground it while cranking it over-do you have spark?

What is it a 2.0 or 2.5 liter?/ Year

You will get an injector pulses w/o spark am having the same problem its only been 2 mos. With a 2.5 w/auto

Okay look for the crankshaft position sensor at the crank. Test its resistances with an ohmmeter should read 520 to 580 ohms do this 1st.
