I was told I had a blown had gasket couldn't afford the full work so I used a gasket sealer that I heard fromseveral people worked very well. Followed the directions to the letter and even put in a new radiator. The engine stopped making that ruff sounding noise and the exhaust is clear again theres no moisture from the pipe or oil in the coolant but the heater isn't working and the engine still gets hot after about 20 minutes. Afrien says the thermostat could be clogged and I should change it because i'm not getting any circulation. What do you recommend?

The sealer probably clogged up the heater core.

Or your coolant is too low to get to the heater core.

Or you need to bleed the coolant system as there is air trapped in the heater core.
