I have a 4.0cyl auto trans 1999 626 w/a rebuilt trans. Miles @ 100k. In the winter sir I noticed that when I turned the car on and turned don the heat the car wold make a squeal you could hear for miles. Then in the summer the AC doesnt work properly. If I leave it on @ 1 for 20 min it might kick on and blw cool air, but the car will loose power. When @ idle the cars engines shakes itself 30 sec or so every and the whole car vibrates. When I'm driving and the air kicks on the car will stutter and shimmy until I let off the gas. What is causing this problem is it the AC or O2 sensors air flow I'm in Afghanistan now but need to keep the car running for the family @ home please help!1

I'm experiencing the same problem with the idle on my car with 125,000 miles on it. It's a 1998 626 as well. It drives fine on the highway, it just has this stutter at idle. Usually while it's in drive and the brake is engaged, not in park.

Any ideas?
