1989 Mazda 626 makes clicking noise

My car won't start and made clicking noises, I had it jump started and worked again but after I turned it off and tried to start it again it just made clicking noises and wouldnt start again, I turning on the lights and it worked, I dont know if it's a battery problem, alternator problem or a starter problem

If a jump start will allow the vehicle to start then that rules out the starter.

First inspect the battery cables and terminals to ensure they are clean and tightened. If OK, you will need to have both the battery and the alternator tested so you can replace the correct one.
