Hi Sir

I bought this mazda astina 323 hatch manual 3 yrs back. It was 67000 kms when I bought this car. Now 107007 roughly. My question is Do I really need to change timing belt or chain after 100000kms? Please suggest me

Hi there,

You should get the belt changed, although the Astina is not an interference engine, a broken timing belt will strand you, you will have no warning that is about to fail, so I think it would be a good idea to do that as a preventive maintenance measure.
