Having this weirdness for a couple of days: from time to time infocenter/CDplayer shuts off (and resets clock) and simultaneously "door open" indicator switches on. While in this condition, cannot lock the car. After a while goes back to normal. Is it some sort of computer failure? Door lock? But if so - why infocenter/CD looses power?

Hi kripats,

Thank you for the donation.

The info center controls the clock and others.

You would have to get in self diagnostics to try to verify if any trouble codes are stored.

Another possible cause would be a bad Info Center.

Hello, the electrical system you describe is powered by a main power control relay located in the power distribution center. But fact the clock resets could mean the battery connection is failing. Check the battery terminals/cables for corrosion. Also, the power to the distribution center could be getting interrupted. All must be load tested using a test meter/light to monitor the circuit.

Let me know how what what happens, Thanks for using 2carpros.com
