I have a p0100 reading from Bluedriver diagnostic tool. I replaced MAF still have bad code. I realized 1year ago a rat had eaten away at the lt/grn wire leading to MAF. I did check power at the harness and that wire has less volts than the rest. Can this be the issue obd bad code? If so, how to I fix the wire with solder or splice it what type of wire?

Was the wire repaired? if not, this can be the problem. Here is a guide to help test the connections and the MAR sensor wiring diagrams so you can see which wires need to be tested.

Hello, thank you for your quick reply and help. I have not repaired the wire. What gauge wire would you recommend 18 -22?

I would match the wire that you are trying to repair. Do you have an image you can upload?

Hereis the image of the chewed wire. I believe its 18-20. Let me know if the image didn't upload. Im going to cut out the bad part and repair it by joining the wire and shrink wrap with solder wire connecter. What do you think?

Hi Ken, well, all codes cleared for a few days now its back. I also replaced a neutral safety switch after market. You think I should get OEM and try that?

Yep, that is what I would do, also please check for leaks between the throttle body and the MAF sensor. I would check the engine for excessive blowby as well.

Hi Ken, I'm waiting for Safety switch to come from Nissan. I'm going to try OEM part. It also dawned on me that I put a reverse camera in. Would it be possible to get p0705 code if it a loose connection. Again 2013 Nissan versa? Today I will disconnect it and see.
