Map sensor/check engine light issues

Hey! So lately I was having some engine problems with my car such as stalling while driving and at idle. I went and go my spark plugs, wires, and rubber stoppers replaced in hopes that it would help but it did nothing. My mechanic then suggested a MAP sensor so I ordered one online that matched the one in my car and installed it myself. My car now drives a lot better, however my check engine light flashes when I get over 30 mph and that will not allow me to set cruise control. I am running out of money and options for car repairs. I need help!

If the check engine light is flashing, most likely there is an engine misfire. You need to have the computer scanned to identify diagnostic trouble codes. Take a look through this link to see if there is anything that is helpful.

I do suggest scanning the computer so we know which cylinder is misfiring or what other problems can be attributed to. Here is a quick video showing how to scan the computer:
