Car is Honda Civic DX 94 250,000 miles super high. Person selling says car will not start because of main relay. But she is selling for $800.00. Worth it? Around how much would it cost to fix the problem?

It really depends on if that is actually the problem. It is a very common issue, but unless you are sure that is the problem it is still a gamble. I would ask how she knows it is the problem. Actual diagnosis or looked online for the most probable cause for it not to run. 250,000 is not that high for a car that is twenty three years old.

The part runs between $30.00 and $50.00 depending on which engine and transmission you have.
