My battery ran down a couple times. I had it checked and it checked out good. Checked the voltage at that battery when the car was running and only read 11.2 volts. I figured bad alternator so I took it in and had it checked. Checked good. Putting out 14.2 volts. Put it back in and still getting 11.2 volts with car running. I thought it has to be the alternator so I purchased a new one. Put it in and am still only getting 11.2 volts at battery when the motor is running. Battery reads 12.1 volts when car is not running. Not sure what to check now.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks.

Sounds like battery voltage is all you have, the alternator works but just ain't reaching the battery.

Should you find a fuse or fusible link being the problem - replace with the exact same animal! Nothing' like setting your rig on fire because you took a short cut!

Let us know how things are going or if you have more inquiry's.

Good luck!
