Low pressure Fuel pump not getting power

Hi, the low pressure fuel pump in my car is not getting power, the car cut out when driving and would not start again, replaced battery as battery was on way out, but car just cranks with no start, we have e checked all relays and fuses. We have had fuel pump out and tested it by connecting straight to battery and it runs, we then checked the connector to the fuel pump where everything is fine other wires and the ground to fuel pump but the live to fuel pump is only getting millivolts to it, any advice or help would be great, I am currently starting to take trim off to follow the wire from fuel pump back to dashboard to look for breaks, but if any more specific advice would be great
