While inspecting my suspension the other day, I noticed this loose, hanging connector under the car and I can’t, for the life of me, find where it goes to? I’m not getting any lights on my dash so I’m honestly just very confused. It’s on the drivers side and it’s close to the transmission

Could you tell me the wire colors and how many contacts are in the plug? It sort of looks like a 3 cavity blue but the wire colors would tell more because there are a few blue connectors under there.

It is a 3-cavity blue connector with two wires populated (yellow and green)

Are they just yellow and green or do they have another colored stripe on them as well? Like a Yellow with red stripe or Green with orange? Asking because I don't see a 3 X 2 connector with just yellow and green. Another thing to try, take the connector and look around the area above it and see where it will reach, it looks like it was connected so there should be an open connection somewhere in the area.

Could it possibly be Green and White? There is an active engine mount around there that shows White and Green as a 2 wire connection.

It can possibly be green and white honestly. I had the car on a lift last week since I had some suspension work done on it, and I was looking around from under while I had the chance. The only nearby connections the cable could possibly reach to it seems were either the ABS or an oxygen sensor but neither were missing a connection. Here are a few screenshots I grabbed from the video I took while the car was on a lift

Take a look on the rear engine mount, it has a connector on it that that should take that plug. The attached is the mount and the connector.

Ahh okay that makes sense, I had all mounts replaced late last year, what does it do exactly?

Controls the internal valving on the active mounts so they damp engine vibration better, however there are also kits that replace those mounts with conventional rubber ones for far less money than the active ones.

Understood, yeah I had all 5 replaced and neither one of those (that I remember), had a connection port for that cable, so the mechanic that did the work for me definitely just left it hanging there. Is it harmful at all to have that disconnected?

I would probably put some grease in it and a bag around it and tie it up out of the way. There is a power and signal from the PCM in that and although it might not do anything, I try not to tempt fate. As for leaving it disconnected, it probably shows as an error in the PCM but not something that turns on the CEL. Never really noticed if it sets any codes.
