Hello, I have a 2006 Odyssey EX which exhibits some hum from the front end. I bought the van with about 126k miles. I never changed the front wheel bearings. I am looking for best brands recommendations for longest lasting bearings and hubs. I am looking at Schaeffler/FAG and Timken.

I also need to replace the lower control arms and tie rods. I am leaning towards an all-in-one kit from RockAuto. Doorman or Moog. I am leaning towards them because of the lifetime warranties. I tend to believe they may be built better since they warranty the product lifetime and the cost is not a whole lot more.

Please recommend bearing/hub and front end kit brands worth getting. Or is it best to get OEM?

Thank you. D -

I try to go OE on most parts if possible. That is because none of the aftermarket has impressed me in the past 5 years or so. Quality has gone way down. However I've seen the least issues with FAG out of the bearing brands. With suspension parts it's just as bad. At one time I would have said Moog but it's been a while since I would say that. However if it's between them or Suspenia or Mevotech, I'd go with the Moog if you're on a budget. The other two have ranged from usable but not great to absolute junk that resembled the OE parts in shape only!
