Does your car have a tachometer in the dash? If yes, when you try to start it does the tachometer move? If yes it isn't the crank sensor. Instead, it is likely fuel related as that system will run with a failed sensor, it uses the cam sensors to determine the crankshaft position. Usually, it would be a 5 second or so crank before it starts. If it constantly cranks you can try some starting fluid, if it reacts to that then it's fuel. Reply back and we can go from there.
