Driver side blend door actuator is stuck on heat, and we need to either switch it to cool or change it out, but we can't find where it's located.

That one is easy to get to. Open the driver's door and remove the panel that is under the steering column and set it aside. Now look up between the steering column and the center HVAC stack and you will see 4 actuators. The one toward the firewall at the lower position is the one for the driver's side. You remove the screws and then remove the actuator. Install the replacement and be sure the actuator stem is in proper position as you install it. Now one piece of advice on these, use either a used OEM unit or a new OE unit. I have yet to find any brand of the aftermarket units that holds up longer than about a year. Some last far less. The OE ones tend to last a while at least.
