1992 Lincoln wont shift right

1992 LINCOLN TOWN CAR

The town cars have a problem with the tranny not shifting from 1-2 or 2-3 its a prolonged shift. Apparently Ford has mad a kit for the issue but after all the driving you have on it a rebuilt or new is tranny is probably you better bet. My town car has the problem and I’m a student in high school so I don't have the money to replace the tranny all I do is shift my self you know D-->2--D the first or 1-2-d, what you want

Our lincoln is shifting wrong its not shifting until its almost 45mph, then it down shifts back and forth we replaced the air flow sensor and still bad, and it wont start unless putting gas pedal down just turns over and over :P
