Electrical problem
1990 Lincoln Town Car V8 99,000 miles

repairman put battery cables on backwards now car wont start. Shop says its fusible link. What could it be? Lots of new parts but still wont start. Help. What all COULD be wrong?

This is the problem: inside your distibutor there is another distributor in from the shaft pull the shaft out there are two components called the innercoil replace them put back everything the way you took off and set the timimng back exact and you will start
