1986 Lincoln Town Car key wont stay in run position.

okay. Please help! When you start the car the key wont stay in the run position. Someone said it is the ignition switch. If so where is it located in the car and how do I fix it?

Remove the steering column covers, then you will see on the left side a white switch with a connector with heavy gauge wires, remove negative battery cable, then remove the screw that holds the switch and connector together, un bolt the switch from the column, replace it with the new one.
