1993 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I replaced high pressure powerstering line onthis lincoln, my problem is I have powerstering to right, but when I try turn to left it's very hard to turn! My question is this! Is there air in the line, or is rack& pinion bad and need to be replaced, if not, how do bleed the rack& pinon to get the air out of unit. I would gladlee dontate to your tech, s. Ijust want make sure this not some sort of scam, before I donate. Thank you! Gary.

If it works to one side and not the other, that pretty much indicates the pump is OK and the fluid is sufficient. The rack and pinion would be the most likely cause but there are other possibilities like the struts and strut mounts. It really should be inspected by a competent shop.
