Suspension problem
1988 Lincoln Mark VII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 121000 miles

my air ride on the front of the car works sometimes and sometimes it dosent, the car sits for days at a time and the front end never drops, I dont think its the air bags because it dosent do it all the time, but their are times when the front end just drops and it lifts back up 2 seconds later and ideal what will cause this, I dont think it is anything major any ideals will be helpful.

From what you've described, it sounds like a teckbook air suspension leak. Replacing the air spring(s) should fix your problem. BTW, the air bladders on those are only 2 mm thick. They will ALWAYS leak the worst when the car is driven and when its cold.

The dealer wants $200+ each for these, but you can get them aftermarket with a LIFETIME WARRANTY for approx. $80.
