My friend sold me a 1990 Lincoln Continental car and after driving a few miles the DCL indicator came on in the diagnostics screen. I drove it about 45 miles after the light came on and the car turned off while I was driving down the free way now I cant get the car to start what could be the problem with the car?

If the car has the 3.8l engine they are notorious for blown head gaskets. One of your cylinders in probably full of antifreeze. Check for water in oil or vise versa. Also remove spark plugs and check for an unusually clean plug. That would indicate there has been coolant in that cylinder.
