1995 Lincoln Continental Car won't turn off when ignition t

1995 Lincoln Continental V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Just bought the car. Replaced some fuses and turned the car on then off. The engine still ran. Pulled out Fuse number Five which deals with the LCM and run start sensor. Then the car shut off. What could be causing this.

You probably need a new switch, not the key, but the plastic switch the harness plugs into.
