Light for nonskid steering went on, then made scrapping noise and loss power?

First noticed pulling onto the road from a parking light. The Steer nonskid light went on. And seemed to hear a scraping noise from under the car. Then I pulled up to the intersection. The car hesitated and gave it gas. It decided to go so I gave it more hoping the Transmission wasn’t about to drop, so I could get the two miles home. Had to stop at a signal. Still a mile from home. More lights went on and it made a grinding sound and managed to get it home.
Is it a sensor and transmission failure, maybe?

Can you tell me where the grinding is coming from? Also let's run the codes to see what comes up so we can see which direction to look. Also, if you could take a short video of the noise, it will help me see what the problem is. It sounds like it could be a brake pad lodged against the brake rotor or a bearing hub let go. Please check out the guide below and report back with any codes that come up:

Where would I find a code? I got it diagnosed. It was the CV axle on the front passenger side that broke and sensor. I asked if the other side was bad, but they said it’s separate and they can’t tell. So, I’m wondering if anything else is going to break soon.

The CV axle breaking will cause the noise and the broken sensor will cause the light to come on, with that many miles I would do the other axle as well. here is how to do the job in the images below, so you know what you are in for with the repair.

Here is a video of the job being done on a similar car:

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Oky. So, is there a way to check it and see if it looks shot? And where is the code you mentioned?

Not really, they are a normal service item after so many miles, for the codes you need to scan the car, here is a guide:

Please go over this guide and report back.
