No fuse in the circuit, it is fed directly from the body module. It's possible you have a bad ground or the connector in the harness is corroded. To test for a bad ground get a cheap test light, remove one of the bulbs and turn on the lights. Now connect the test light to a good ground and probe the bulb socket. Do you get a light on one terminal? If yes, it's likely the ground has failed. Look at the other lamp while testing, it's possible that a bad ground would show itself when you touch the ground terminal in the socket as they are connected together. If you find no voltage on either terminal, then skip to the Body module and locate the green wire with a yellow stripe on pin 13 in connector X4 use a back probe needle and see if there is power there with the lights on. If there is power there, then the issue is in that wire where it runs through the harness. Then you go find the two inline connections in the harness. X900 (near the hinge area for the rear trunk lid) and X915 (at the rear of the central trunk lid) and see where the power stops. I would suspect the common wire breaking issue where the wire flexes.
