I took the timing covers ( Plastic ) off to inspect my belt. Noticed oil dampness. Tried to start engine to look for leaks. Engine runs for about 2 seconds and shuts off. I only unplugged to sensors that ran through the covers and plugged them in again and I took the air horn ( to the MAF meter ) and I put it back on. I don't understand why it won't stay running. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks. Milt

If I recall correctly that had two distributors
one on the left and one on the right
make sure wires return to the correct place
all intake duct work have to be back too
check coil wires
