After monkeying around and changing all my lights to LED's they worked just fine. Then, after tapping into the rear turn signal wires for additional lights in the back, they started acting "funny". The left side was fast, or dim, and the additional lamp did not illuminate when the brake pedal was pressed. I removed the additional lights and taped over the wires where they had been spliced. Now I have the described problem, but the right side blinks fast when the headlights are on. Well, sometimes. It is intermittent behavior. And the front left turn/running light has a very faint flicker. The kicker is- there is not a popped fuse on the whole truck. And there is no heat from the left rear turn signal wire in the back, at the light box plug junction. No power coming from the harness. Only the running lights work. And the LED lights have ballasts.

Well it sounds like the BCM has a failure. It controls all of the lights on the truck and does not have a lot of extra current to run extra lights without a relay.

I would start by switching everything back, that will give you a baseline to test from.
If things stay the same then use a scan tool to talk to the BCM and see what it shows for errors.

Thanks Steve! Looks like I blew the box with high draw Led floods. I will get the scan tool. Have a good weekend!

It happens a lot with newer vehicles. They design a lot of them right at the edge so if you add anything it tips them over the edge. Not like the old cars where they ran real wires and had big switches that could handle it.
My SOP these days is anything that draws voltage gets a relay. Extra lights, trailer wiring, better interior lights, stereo gear.
