Air conditioning seems to work through left and right vents; however he only comes in from the right vent.

I'm trying to replace the blend door motor.

There are two screws I can access the bottom one easily:

1) How best can you access the talks good that is not easy visible?
--- does anything need to be removed?

2) There was a red clip on the wiring harness, I removed to get it out I assume that was just a retaining clip that should go back?

This is video and part on YouTube but for 2014, mine is 2017.

Hello,

To remove the driver side blend door actuator, you will have to remove the accelerator pedal.

Also, keep in mind the blend door actuator controls the hot/cold air mix, not where the air will flow through. So, if the issue is air flow, then it is likely the mode door actuator.
To replace the mode door actuator the steering column, needs to be removed.

I have attached the replacement procedure below for your reference.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

So even though the correct air temperature does come out of the passenger side, that is heat does come out of the passenger side when it is set to heat, And it seems like air conditioning comes out of both sides when the air conditioning is on, You are saying it's the mode door actuator and not the blend door on the driver's side?

This might be beyond me if the steering column needs to come off sounds like a big job. Do you know what the labor hours would be at the repair shop?

Thank you for the feedback.

So, if the issue is temperature related then it is likely the blend door actuator. If the temperature cannot the control properly it points to the blend door actuator.
If the issue is related to where the air flows out of then the mode actuator could be the culprit.
The mode actuator calls for 1.5 hours of labor and the blend door actuator is 0.5 hours.

It is the left hand drivers side blend door per dealer, with diagnostics and removing the accelerator pedal and so forth they are claiming that it's 2 hours of labor, does that seem any way reasonable?

The replacement labor is 45 minutes to 1 hour and most dealers will charge 1 hour for labor.
So with the diagnostics and replacement, the labor hour is reasonable.
