I’ve tried everything except a sledge to the pickle fork. Why won’t this pop off? I’m also replacing the lower control arm.

Hello,

This can be frustrating, I know but I have included a link down below for you to go to:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-release-a-ball-joint

I have also included for you in the diagrams down below the factory instructions for removing and installing both the upper and lower ball joints on your vehicle. Please go through the guide and instructions and get back to us with you find out. Also if you would like instructions on removing and replacing your control arms please ask a separate question.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey thanks man. It looks like that’s what I needed to know. I’ll be back on it in just a few hours and then I’ll let you know how that went. Stud-from-Knuckle diagram is a little confusing, I’m not sure what to make of it. Also going to ask about lower control arm removal, it’s my first time doing any of this.
