Hi, I need some advice. I have a Land Cruiser Prado tzg, that I modified from the AHC to standard suspension. I also fitted a brand new genuine steering rack after having issues with the old one. However, after a few months I’m experiencing a knocking/thump sound from the front left. All bushes, ball joints etc, are new. Sound is prominent early morning when it’s cold and car has been stationary. After driving the car around the noise seems to reduce significantly or even disappear
I recently replaced the hydraulic stabilizer link and bled the KDSS however the knocking sound is still there especially on uneven roads in the mornings. What could possibly be the issue? Your advice would be really appreciated.

Hi,

This model isn't offered in the US, but I'll try my best to help.

Are you hearing this only when going over bumps? Based on your description, I suspect you feel it is suspension related. Is that correct?

Let me know as much as you can. Also, if it is loud enough to record. Please do so and upload it for me to hear. Additionally, a few pics of the modifications may help so I have a better understanding of what has been done.

Here is a link you may find of interest in the interim.

I will watch for your reply.
