I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that seems to be burning oil. After using it a couple days the dipstick shows low. Is that normal on GDI engines? Should I just replace the engine or try to fix?

Before you do anything go to https://www.kiaenginesettlement.com/ and https://www.kiaengineclasssettlement.com/ and see if your vehicle has a recall on that engine. Then if it does, follow the instructions to file.
No the oil use isn't normal. If you are in one of the above classes you might get a new engine for free. If not then engine replacement is a viable alternative BUT try to get one from a reputable rebuilder.

You are welcome. Much better if they will pay for the replacement rather than you. Good Luck

I'm not sure but it's worth a try before you have to pay for it. Plus they have done loyalty repairs before.

Good Luck. If they say no you might want to talk to a dealer about trying for a goodwill repair.
