Key light comes on speedometer drops RPMs rise?

I have hardly any power from a stop until about 15mph then all the power comes back. Once I hit about 40 MPH the key light on gauge cluster comes on, the car jerks slightly, speedometer drops to zero, and the RPMs shoot up as if the transmission suddenly shifted to lowest gear while I’m going 40 MPH. Please help any advice will do.

I have seen the IPC (instrument panel cluster) short out and cause this problem, but to be sure let's do a CAN scan. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
