Key fob not working

Hello,

I replaced the battery in my key fob and it's still not working. When I try to start it, the "no key" symbol comes on, even though I have the key with me. I have also tried touching the key fob to the ignition button and there is no recognition (like a beep) whatsoever. Any recommendations?

Maybe getting a video will help with making sure we understand the issue.

However, if you are pressing the start button or even pressing the key to the start button and nothing is happening then the button is most likely the issue. It may not be the button itself but the immobilizer unit.

If this is the case then we need to start with checking for codes.

Below is the info that you can review from the manual but the last page is the most important as it states what to do with an issue. Basically we need to check for codes and go from there.
