It’s not when it’s shifting also when I'm in sport mode it doesn’t do it. It shifts perfectly nothing else is wrong with it other than it jerks when decelerating at 20 MPH.

The fact that this does not happen when you have it in sport mode means it is transmission related.

You may not be feeling the shift when this happens but there is something that is engaging or disengaging that is causing the jerking.

What I would do is check for codes and then go from there.

I suspect this issue is the torque converter but we need to dig further to figure this out.

More then likely there is a code for the converter so lets start there and see what comes back. Thanks

So there isn’t a check engine light on so I’m not sure what to do?

Yeah. The light may not be on but we could still have codes so it is worth checking.

If you can't check the codes yourself, then you can stop by a parts store that offers to pull them and they will get you any that are in there.
