I recently took my jeep offroading and managed to find some nice big mud puddles along the way. Now my horn is barely audible -- it still works but is just very quiet. Any ideas what caused this & how to fix it?

Sounds to me like you have filled it full of mudd. I work at a 4x4 shop and have seen this before. Try and shoot a little water into the open face of the horn to loosen things up. Next try blowing some air into the horn and dislodging the crude. Wear goggles and be careful. Also this fix has worked for me and I have also just had to replace the horn itself. Let me know if this helps and thanks Curt
