On my 2007 JK jeep wrangler v6 3.8 liter. I put new plugs on gapped right, new wires, did the fuel system cleaning all to it. When I did the fuel system cleaning I spayed out the throttle body put an additive in gas tank and than used the other part that came with 3 part fuel system kit. It said to leave vehicle run and set tube in front of throttle body and let it suck it in while running I did that as well. Later that day my wife added another body (little 12oz bottles) to the gas tank, fuel treatment. Now when she drives when you are going it has a hesitate to it. No misfire codes or anything. Just lacks in power kind of now. Any ideas or anything?

When you say you sprayed out the throttle body, did you use a foaming spray? The top engine cleaner that your talking about is suppose to be poured into your braker booster vacuum hose while at 2500rpms. While doing this, it causes the engine to run lean, so doing it after changing the plugs wasnt the best idea. What exactly did you do, and what did you use?

I changed the plugs, got them from the dealer. When taken wires off I messed up 2 of them, no one had them in stock till the next day so I had to drive it to work and pick up the wires that day and I switched them that day, one at a time. The day I switched the plugs I did the 3 part fuel system cleaning. The throttle body spray was in an aresol can and the other spray with the hose was in an aresol can too. I got it from autozone. It's made by 3M. It's called do it yourself fuel system cleaner. I added the fuel treament that came with the kit and later that day my wife added another bottle by accident. Oh yeah I must have knock the hose off from the air cleaner, the little hose on the side and she drove around for about a day with it not hooked up and it threw a check engine light that came up cylinder 6 misfire and I finally found the hose that was disconnected and reconnected it and reset the check engine light and now I don't get a check engine light it just has that hesitatation when you give it gas while switching gears going down the road. It's a 6spd manual.

The throttle body cleaner your talking about I believe your suppose to remove the throttle body, and that spray is to remove the gunk that sometimes causes the throttle body to stick. It should say on the bottle. Im not familiar with the 3m your talking about, we use a similiar product from MIGHTY. It hesitates as soon as a load is put on it, sounds like a vacuum leak. At idle, hood open, do you hear anything sucking air?
