my knock sensor is not hooked up and I dont know which color wire goes to it so I can hook it up.

and my engine makes a knocking sound when you rev it up. I think it might be the knock sensor, but on the other hand it could be a bad main bearing but that is where it gets tough because it is a brand new motor. So I have already over ruled that it is a rod.

so what do you think?

Hi there,

If the knock is when you accelerate quickly and not so bad when light throttle is used I feel it will be the knock sensor, if this is not rectified you run the risk of burning a hole in a piston, so get your mechanic or auto lec to sort this out before you do some expensive damage.
