My jeep died a few weeks ago. I had it towed to a shop, where it cranked fine, and the diagnostics said that the fuel pump and fuel regulator were bad. So I replaced them. Then it kept dieing and not cranking, so I put a crank shaft possision sensor on it. That didn't work. The dealership ran a diagnostic and they said the fuel regulator was bad because the fuel pressure kept dropping. Now the mechanic says I need a new instrument cluster. What is actually wrong with my Jeep?

If the fuel pressure keeps droping, it could be the fuel pressure regulator or the pump they replaced. That could cause the problem. Why did they say the inst. Panel needs replaced?
