1999 Jeep Wrangler blower motor resistor

I have done some research on this problem and I question if this will fix all of my problems. I have been told that the Juice goes threw the blower motor resister for "Low", "Medium-Low" and "Medium-High" and the setting "High" the juice comes straight from the battery. My original problem was that "High" didn't work at all and "Medium-High" had to be encouraged to work. Recently, since the cold started this winter, I have lost "Medium-High" completely. It makes sense that replacing the blower motor resistor will fix "Medium-High", but will it also fix "High"?

May want to check the blower motor relay. If HIGH setting is not working then the resistor is not at fault. It may be melted wiring at the resistor, but resistor itself can not stop HIGH from working as it is direct power. Blower motor itself or heater / a/c control switch is most likely at fault if the relay(s) is good.
