1997 Jeep Wrangler hard start

I turn the key to start and it just turns but wont start. The second time it starts.I just wanted to know what to check to try to fix it myself, because im short on money and I need my jeep

ISA motor on the throttle body. This solenoid repositions itself after every key off cycle for the next startup (a choke for the modern engine). Check all your plugs for fouling, gap and proper spark.
