1994 Other Jeep Models Occasionally wont start

Sometimes the engine will turn over but wont start. Occasionally will die at a stop light if left alone will usually start after third or fourth trying.

Could be a possiblity of a few things. When has the jeep beenlast tuned up? I mean pugs fuel filter, air filter. They can all make it so it would stall out or not start. What do you mean by sometimes would turn over but not start? Is there a problem with it turning over?

I just got a new fuel filter and I dont know the last time it was tuned up I just bought the car less than a year ago. I have been told I have an exhaust leak but no one can tell me what else is wrong with it
