2000 Jeep Laredo fuel

I have a problem with my 2000 jeep grand cherokee. Some times when I turn a corner to the RIGHT, the engine wants to die out. When I press the gas pedal, it does nothing, untill I straighten out. I have talked to some friends and they have said I have electrical problem. But I last year I changed fuel pump, but not the filter. Have any thoughts on this?

Hi:
Start with checking fuel pump pressure. Here is a how to video to watch.

Many parts stores will lend or rent the gauge to you.

let me know what you find. Also, you may want to replace the fuel filter.
